In the famous Valle D'Itria in the wonderful region of Apulia, in Southern Italy, there is a profusion of olive groves, orchards, vineyards and "trulli".  "Trulli" are the typical circular buildings of Apulia, with conical roofs and a domed interior; they are built from local limestone using a special method that avoids using mortar.  The walls are generally white-washed, while the stone roof tiles often have religious, pagan, or magical symbols painted on to them.  In this wonderful landscape, sits the ancient Masseria Serio, immersed in the pleasant countryside near to Locorotondo, a small rural town right in the heart of Apulia."

In addition to lush oak trees, a green meadow and flowers, there is a beautiful swimming pool featuring boulders of local stone.  The accommodation at Masseria Serio comprises three apartments all comfortably furnished and each with its own separate entrance.  The apartments are available to guests all year round, secluded from the outside world by the farm, which extends over a wide area of surrounding countryside.

Masseria Serio is an ancient farm characterised by historic stone buildings, Mediterranean plants and wild flowers.  It has recently been renovated to a high standard, maintaining many of the the original features.  The ancient olive groves and old rows of vines are separated by typical dry-stone walls.  This is an ideal place for all those who desire to live the rural life and spend a peaceful and relaxing holiday in the tranquillity that reigns over the farm, whilst staying in a comfortable and warm environment, welcomed by the whole of the Grassi family.
